APTNE is your regional chapter of the APT International organization (to join APT International, visit www.apti.org).

As an APTNE member, you will be connected with a network of leading preservationists that spans the globe. All the benefits of the national professional association are combined with the community feeling of the regional northeast. APTNE membership includes invitations to local lectures, regional networking events, educational seminars and workshops, as well as unique excursions and historic tours.

Who is Welcome?

Professionals, tradespeople, and students involved in any aspect of the conservation or preservation of historic structures from Maine to New Jersey are encouraged to become members. If you work in designing, surveying, investigating, or repairing these structures, you will gain access to and share the experiences of colleagues in the trade community, from architects and engineers, technicians and contractors, craftspeople and curators, to educators, historians and preservationists.

Membership Term

Membership term is based on the calendar year January 1 through December 31; membership renewals are sent out a few weeks before the start of the new year.

New members that sign up 90 days or less from the end of the year will receive membership for the current year plus the following year.

Membership Levels

Student

• Complimentary (with valid student ID)
• Includes discounts, exclusive access or complimentary registration to APTNE-sponsored events including tours, lectures, networking events and the Annual Symposium.

Young Professional

For professionals who have graduated with a college degree in the last 5 years.  Membership comes with two (2) complimentary Networking Event tickets.

• $30 annually
• Includes discounts, exclusive access or complimentary registration to APTNE-sponsored events including tours, lectures, and networking events.

Individual

• $45 annually
• Includes discounts, exclusive access or complimentary registration to APTNE-sponsored events including tours, lectures, and networking events.
